Yayoi Kambara and KAMBARA + DANCERS is very excited for Hope Mohr Bridge Project’s community engagement program's final Dancing Around Race Public Gathering on February 28, featuring guest speaker Thomas F. DeFrantz, professor of African and African-American Studies, Dance, and Theater Studies at Duke University. We will be joined by the artist cohort, Sammay Dizon, Raissa Simpson, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and David Herrera.

We hope you or a representative from your respective institutions can join us for this discussion about institutional thinking and models for implementing equity in the dance community.
