YES!, an interactive performance narrated by Black Benatar (aka Mx Beatrice Thomas) and visualized by and with their consent angels, takes viewers through a theatrical journey where audiences engage as active co-conspirators on an interactive performance towards togetherness. YES! numbers include dance, drag, interactive games, and reflections. Audiences articulate and analyze the scenes to define consent - when a scenario needs consent, discernment, the choice we make and communicate, and finally - action without attachment. Action without attachment is essential as this allows students to fail and have confidence in making different choices if their initial choice isn’t serving them. Throughout YES!, audiences explore relationships we encounter with government, corporations and the unconscious ways we are manipulated in our choice making. From individual consent, between two people, to the larger context of consent between ourselves and society, government and economics, YES! guides learning through spectacle of glorious drag and dancing. Consent is not a given. But when we get it right—it’s magic.

An excerpt of YES! premiered on October 4th 2025 at PUSHfest in the SF Tenderloin. The show sold out and KAMBARA+ was awarded with an audience choice award.
